The Challenge
The site sat at a dense intersection with strict height, zoning, and daylight-access regulations, all while Ashcombe wanted a design bold enough to stand out on the skyline.
Early feasibility studies revealed that a conventional tower footprint would fail to meet both the client's ambition and local planning constraints. We needed a structural form that satisfied regulatory limits while still delivering a distinct architectural identity, without inflating cost or construction time.
The solution
We rebuilt the site around the problems clients actually arrive with, not the services listed on an invoice.
Each of the four services now opens with the situation it solves, before it explains what the engagement involves or what it costs to start. The client references stayed front and center, since a track record with organisations like Hilton DoubleTree and Geno Pharmaceuticals does more to build trust than any description of process could. We kept the dark navy and amber palette from the original site, since it already looked considered, and made sure the text could carry the page on its own, so nothing depended on a visitor waiting for a video to load.
