The Challenge
Aara had just built out a new indo-western line, and the site had no real way to show it.
Aara Boutique makes each piece to order, from lehengas to blouses, using heirloom fabrics worked into new indo-western designs. A made-to-order label doesn't have racks of stock for someone to browse in person, so the photography has to do that job instead. The client wanted the site rebuilt around the new collection, with photography strong enough to carry it.
The solution
We shot the new line ourselves, then built the site to let that photography lead.
Product and lifestyle shots were taken together, so each piece could be seen both on its own and worn, which matters more here than it does for most retail. The site groups everything by collection, with the new indo-western pieces sitting alongside blouses, kurtis, and lehengas, plus a design catalogue for anyone commissioning something custom. Shot and built in five days.
